چکیده

AbstractWe present StreamDEQ, a method that infers frame-wise representations on videos with minimal per-frame computation. In contrast to conventional methods where compute time grows at least linearly the network depth, we aim update in continuous manner. For this purpose, leverage recently emerging implicit layer models, which infer representation of an image by solving fixed-point problem. Our main insight is slowly changing nature and use previous frame as initial condition each frame. This scheme effectively recycles recent inference computations greatly reduces needed processing time. Through extensive experimental analysis, show StreamDEQ able recover near-optimal few frames time, maintain up-to-date throughout video duration. experiments semantic segmentation object detection achieves par accuracy baseline (standard MDEQ) while being more than \(3\times \) faster. A non-equilibrium multiscale simulation paradigm

A con-current multiscale non-equilibrium molecular dynamics is proposed. The notion of multiscale canonical element ensemble is put forth, which enables us to employ the coarse grain field as a heat bath, and it is accomplished by using a distributed Nośe–Hoover thermostat network. In doing so, it guarantees that the non-equilibrium molecular dynamics returns to a canonical equilibrium state wh...

On multiscale non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations

In this work, we set forth a multiscale non-equilibrium molecular dynamics (MS-NEMD) model. The main objectives of MS-NEMD model are: (1) establishing a rigorous NEMD that provides direct threedimensional simulations of thermal–mechanical motions at atomistic scale, and (2) providing a general computational paradigm for non-equilibrium multiscale simulations. The proposed MS-NEMD combines a coa...

Multicanonical distribution: statistical equilibrium of multiscale systems.

A multicanonical formalism is introduced to describe the statistical equilibrium of complex systems exhibiting a hierarchy of time and length scales, where the hierarchical structure is described as a set of nested "internal heat reservoirs" with fluctuating "temperatures." The probability distribution of states at small scales is written as an appropriate averaging of the large-scale distribut...

Multiscale Sparse Microcanonical Models

We study density estimation of stationary processes defined over an infinite grid from a single, finite realization. Gaussian Processes and Markov Random Fields avoid the curse of dimensionality by focusing on low-order and localized potentials respectively, but its application to complex datasets is limited by their inability to capture singularities and long-range interactions, and their expe...
